On June 23rd, a strategic partnership was launched between Cuci Malaysia and @ekosetiawangsa to transform Setiawangsa into Malaysia’s first eco-district. This ambitious initiative aims to implement a comprehensive hyper-local sustainability action plan that involves all stakeholders, including residents, commercial entities, associations, NGOs, and local authorities.

- Water Conservation: Encouraging water-saving practices and the use of sustainable water management systems.
- Community Engagement: Involving local residents and businesses in sustainability efforts through education and participation in eco-friendly activities.
Goals and Expected Outcomes
The primary goal of this initiative is to create a sustainable and resilient urban environment in Setiawangsa that can serve as a blueprint for other districts in Malaysia. By integrating sustainability into the daily lives of residents and businesses, the project aims to:
- Reduce Carbon Footprint: Lower greenhouse gas emissions through energy-efficient practices and the use of renewable energy.
